This Spanish Colonial home built in 1929 is located in Tampa Bay's Beach Park neighborhood which was developed in the 1920s on the waterfront of Old Tampa Bay. The home boasts a historic feel, as much of the charm has endured. The homes ceilings are gorgeous with some rooms that have coffered ceilings and others have decorative coved plaster ceilings that soar to nine and a half feet high adding to the large feel of the home. Light fills the oversized dining room from the two sets of windows on the south and east sides of the room. The sitting room just off the living room has two walls of windows and the room's highlight is the wood beams, added after sometime its original build date. The room is being utilized as an office but could easily be a playroom. The living room boasts a working fireplace with tile surround and hardwood floors. The wood floors were refinished in 2016 throughout the entire home. The wood beams in the kitchen matches the decorative beams in the sitting room which showcase the room's height and add to the charming feel of the house. Ample cabinetry surrounds the room with a row of windows opposite the island that doubles as a breakfast bar with stools. The appliances are definitely up to today's standards-a stainless Bosch dishwasher and refrigerator, GE Monogram convection/microwave oven, and enormous stainless steel hood, and the gas range is by Wolf. The primary bedroom is oversized with a large walk-in shower en-suite. Three closets with custom built-ins were added to the second bedroom, one of which houses the stacked washer and dryer, (2016). There is still a washer/dryer connection in the garage that is currently not in use. The third bedroom is currently a den. It is large and inviting and could easily be the bedroom that it was intended to be. French doors to access the pool and backyard were added from the bedroom, where a very private oasis has been created with large Travelers Palms, Podocarpus trees and ample areas created to gather in the outdoors. Other updates include custom closet built-ins in all three bedrooms (2016-2018), a Carrier AC unit, and a thermostat installed in 2018. Bosch dishwasher, and Rinnai Tankless water heater in 2019. The Pool pump and filter were installed in 2021. (Inline pool chlorinator was installed in 2024). Wood fences were installed across the rear yard and alongside the driveway. This home and 2-car garage had no water intrusion from the recent storms. The current Flood Insurance Policy was renewed in November and can be assumed.
